What is Newton SuitesVideo Interview:

Newton Suites video interview is a video interview you complete by yourself at a time and place that suits you. You will need a computer with a webcam and microphone (these can be external devices and do not have to be built in) combined with the latest version of your web browser and complete your interview via iPhone/iPad or Android device with a front-facing camera.

Candidate Workflow:

• 1. Candidate completes application procedure for interviewing company/recruiter
• 2. Candidate receives email from Newton Suites containing the link from Recruiter.
• 3. Candidate clicks on the "Access your Video Interview" link from the invite and creates a new account password to log in.
• 4. Candidates will be allotted with 5 question on the interview session and each question having 2 minutes time to give answer. In total you have to complete your interview in 10 minutes.
• 5. Candidate starts interview process.
• 6.Candidate completes interview process and video interview is automatically submitted to the recruiter for review.

What happens if my Internet connection is lost during the interview?

On rare occasions, you can get disconnected from the application midway through recording the interview. If this happens, do not panic: the system will automatically try to reconnect and resume the interview.

Losing connection can occur for technical reasons such as complete loss of internet connection, computer malfunction, incoming phone calls or another application starting on a mobile device.

If this happens, in the majority of cases, you can log back in and complete the interview from the point where you were logged out. You will be shown the question again and can start recording.

Can I see the questions in advance?

Unfortunately, you can't see the questions before the interview. The idea is to simulate a live interview, where you don't know the questions in advance. Questions will be displayed on the screen and you will have a time to read and a separate time to record your answer. The time set to read and answer is set by the company involved.

It is worth keeping in mind that:

• You are not recorded during the reading time.
• You cannot change your answer once the recording has started.
• 3. Candidate clicks on the "Access your Video Interview" link from the invite and creates a new account password to log in.
• Reading time and answering time for the real questions may be slightly different to the practice questions.
• Practice questions recordings are not shared with the interviewer.

Can I start/stop recording or re-answer when I want?

You should complete your interview in one session.

Each question has a reading time. During the interview, you can start/stop recording each question when you are ready if you do not want to use all of the time provided: You cannot re-record an answer but you are given 2 minutes at the end to add further comments or add further clarification to some answers.

Can I take breaks during the interviews?

You cannot take breaks during the interview. Just like a face-to-face interview you cannot just hop in and out.
Once you begin the interview you must continue until all questions are answered. You cannot go back and re-answer a question but you do have two minutes at the end to add any additional comments or information.

How do I Know I’m being recorded?

Each question has two sections - a reading time and a recording time. You will only be recorded when you are answering the question not whilst reading the questions. Recording Time - once you move to being recorded, the button changes to RED and will say "Recording" as illustrated below.

Did my Interview Save?

Not sure if the interview you just finished was saved correctly? Here's a couple of things to watch out for:

• Your video interview is automatically saved to your account and the interviewers account so YOU DO NOT have to do anything else now.
• You will receive an email to confirm that your interview has been saved and is ready for review.
• On your dashboard beside your interview name you should see 'Completed'
